It's full-on Steemfat 3, so that means finding new and healthy recipes every day.
We went to a Mexican restaurant once were the served only taco's.
We loved it.
Today we decided to recreate the same experience in the kitchen.
It was a great success.
It did take a very long time to prepare everything but it was worth it.
Tacos with chicken salsa, beans, and guacamole.
All freshly home-made!
Let's cook.
Ingredients: Tomatoes, Red onion, jalapeno, garlic, limes, parley (Bianca doesn't like cilantro), chicken breasts, avocados and tacos.
First prep everything. Deseed the tomatoes and cut them finely. Also, cut the onion.
Slice the avocados in two and use a knife to take out the big seed. Then scope the flesh out with a spoon. Cut it and put in a bowl. Put lime on them to prevent them from going brown.
Cut the rest of the ingredients finely. The parsley, the garlic, and the jalapeno.
Make the salsa by putting the 3/4 of the tomatoes, 1/2 of the onions, 1/2 of the parsley, 1/2 jalapeno and lime juice together and mix.
Make the guacamole by squashing the avocados with a fork and add the leftover tomatoes and onions with the parsley and jalapeno.
Phase 1 complete:
Get the chicken and slice into strips and put them in the pressure cooker with a little bit of garlic and oil.
Add water and close the lid. Let the pressure cooker do its job for 10 minutes.
When you open the pan it looks like this:
Take the chicken out and put it in the blender.
Add the chicken to the salsa and season with salt, pepper, and add more lime.
Time to build the taco!
End result! Delicious fresh flavors and tasty as hell! It was worth all the effort.
We ended up eating most of them in the kitchen...

A German/Belgian lager would go very well with those fat, juicy tacos. Damn it....those pics are going to force me to head over to Chipotle for lunch today.
Man. A beer would have been perfect. But I can't atm because of Steemfat3 :)
Ha, ha , ha , you ate all in the kitchen.
It looks whoa!!
I have to replicate this recipe.
This time I will do it myself just the way you did it.
My kids will help too.
It will be a dinner for four and a half.
I do not have a pressure cooker.
Is there another meat we can use?
salsa is really tempting.
Thanks
Keep on steemit.
I never tasted avocado in this way! I think this food contains nutrition as well! Loos delicious and hope it might be too! Thanks for sharing this great experience with us!@exyle,
Cheers~
Wow.. Those Taco's look really delicious, you have prepared Taco's even better than restaurant style Taco's... Congrats!
This looks very delicious. I think it's also healthy based on the ingredients you used and the way you cooked it.
I think so too!
great experience with mexican meal, I like the tacos, friend try to eat food from my country Honduras, too is good meal
Show me a recipe please! (a healthy one).
My girlfriend is Mexican and her mom can make the best tacos you would ever eat. I’m sure these are great too. You should do some Korean and Thai dishes though. I think you would enjoy a lot of them
I'm sure she can make them better. Mom's always can!
Lol. It’s like a gene that moms have. It’s hereditary haha
That sells your great grandma short, it isn’t hereditary, it’s a tradition, almost like an heirloom passed down. I was the one that it got passed to in my family.
I was only joking lol
I should’ve known that, but I meet a lot of people who think cooking is some magic, that you just know, and if you don’t know, you never can.
I feel you. Ive loved cooking since i was 8. Ive learned a lot, but cooking is one of those things where you never can learn it all
Home made is healthy
I have a lot of home made dishes You wouldn’t call healthy, lasagna, chili, Alfredo, tomato bisque to name a few.
At least you know what ingridents you put in your meal at home.
Mexican food is one of my favourites.
I'm from Croatia ( Europe, next to Italy ), and Mexican food is a rare thing to see, but I make it home.
Also, I'm a big fan fan of spicy food, and my family isn't.
So, if I make it, I'll it most of it by myself.
I'm from the Netherlands. Bianca and I have Croatia on out Wishlist of countries to visit one day. I like spicy food too.
Steem fat 3 here we go, nice job with the tagos @exyle everything used is healthy and what a great way to cook the chicken I hadn't thought of cooking it that way and putting it in a tago.
These look really good and healthy too but unfortunately... Some of the ingredients are a limiting factor for me considering the fact that I'm in Africa.
I'm not really familiar with some of them....
I wonder how I will go about this just in case I wanna make mine too.....
I'm curious which ingredients are hard to come by. Which country are you from?
I'm from Nigeria, west Africa....
Two of the ingredients are unfamiliar: the jalapeno and taco.....
Although the taco looks like the usual home made pancakes we have here.... I stand corrected though
Wonderful! How did you get to know all the recipe involved? It must have taken a lot of work to do the sourcing from nearby market. Except Bianca is a Mexican, otherwise you both deserve an award for your ingenuity in kitchen affairs.
Bianca is a Brazilian :)
We found a recipe online and luckily we found the ingredients in the supermarket. Isn't hard to prepare, just demands time :/
Jesus. That's not fair! I want to have one of these right now!!! But supermarkets in Germany are closed at this time of day.
The chicken seems so enticing, do you really fo cook? So you are a Dtube maestro, a fantastic blogger, tell me again, so what can't you do?😂😂😂😂😂
I like to cook indeed. Many things I cannot do don't worry :)
Lol I guess we can't find out now 😂😂😂😂
Tacos are a weekly thing in our house. Actually just premade chicken for my 8 year old as she will take them for school lunches. Personal preference is to chunk the meat vs shredding it, it's a texture thing.
I'll keep that in mind.
I also grill or pan fry the Chicken. This way we can season the meat also.
Just did a post from our meal last night, feel free to check it out. Was a very last minute thing as I thought my Wife had planned something. So decided to start a 20 minute meal series. These will all be simple toss it together meals to avoid eating fast food. It take longer then 20 minutes to run to pick up fast food so figured that was a time cut off that would be attractive to people.
Wow! I can see all the time and effort you put in all of these. Thank you for the tips even though you made my tummy scream in protest. I wish i can have that bite. Haha.
This looks like home in Oklahoma. I hope you enjoyed it. Here there are family restaurants who prepare these every day. Remember, it is difficult to find slim Mexicans... I’m guessing it is the beer.
It must be the beer! If this isn't healthy I don't know what is.
I envy you Exyle because I'm certain that was a very good bite. I also wish we were eating as healthy as you, currenly we're in the process of reconstructing our kitchen so at the very moment our culinair capacities are extremely limited. Hopefully everything is done by the summer.
Tacos are the best. You made me drool. Now I'm going to have to make some, soon. Everything worthwhile takes time, but you cn't beat home made any thing! BTW I'm with Bianca, no cilantro! I'm allergic to the stuff!
I like it a lot. But Parsley works great as a substitute.
Good to know that the parsley worked well.
Ekhem, the pain of a man who cooks like a god when he tries to lose some weight... Jesus Christ, I'm drooling like a hungry dragon who haven't eaten for 1000 years.
Good heavens, they look really really very delicious. I think they also tasted very well.
Fresh and delicious!
looks delicious! especially that guac!
Lol, I have always forked the bloody chicken. I never even thought of putting it in the blender! I will do now though.
I love jalapenos, I always add some to a guacamole as well. I have taken to pickling my own now for things like that also, just pickling for a couple of weeks means they are still blinding hot and retain their crunch! Top Steemfat3 dinner making!
Looks yummy, but what do you call that black thing in the fifth picture from the last?
Black beans!
Oh I see. I get it. Thank you for the answer. ;)
Man of many talents!! :-)

Guacamole is the best! Really just avocados themselves....with crackers. Don't get me started!!
ahhhhhhhh! it looks delicious! send me some to Spain @exyle please!!! :P
Wait a second, this is art!
Making it homemade is the way to do it. It’s the the way to know what’s in it. Of course, it would be better if you grew all the ingredients, but that is hard sometimes.
Tasty. I like very much that food. Thank you @exyle. I invite you to follow and vote for me
