I am a big fan of thinking my way into the future with positivity ๐
Two years ago I was looking for a way to support my family consistently whilst travelling the world and then I met a guy in the jungle who told me about Steemit...
The Mobile Steemit Home
With this question answered my family and I have turned our attention to what it is we would most enjoy doing next and the answer is a mobile home. Sabrina & I are travellers at heart and now that we have two babies, adjustments have been made to our joint vision of how we intend to continue on our journey.
There is something very appealing about the thought of a home with wheels
Sabrina has lived in converted trucks before and travelled through Europe so she has already tasted this life, whereas I am yet a virgin. So, whilst her first thought was the converted truck vision, my first thought was the latest in cutting edge tech, RV of the future!
I realise these images I am showing you represent the most expensive option available, but that doesn't matter. To manifest, first we must dream it is possible.
Why is modern not always the best?
Whilst I do love to dream about this classy vision of our future I am conscious of my mother and her story.
Just when she was approaching the ripe old age of 70 she decided that she would drive to South Africa and back (from the UK) in a Toyota Landcruiser 4x4 with a flip-out tent on top. This journey took her around 3 years and unquestionably made her younger!
She and her partner chose this vehicle because no matter where they were in the world, someone would be able to repair it.
New vehicles are not designed to be fixed by mechanics who don't work for the company.
They are mostly electronic now with custom made parts which must be ordered directly from the source.
Which if you are driving through Africa will take weeks to arrive!
With this in mind the vision is happy to be adjusted.
Solar panels can always be added later ๐
Thankfully google images makes it very easy to dream about the possibilities...
These converted school busses really get my mind going!

Onward & Upward!
We are in the glory days of Steemit now and anything is possible. Invest your earnings wisely and you may very well find yourself in a position where you never have to answer to a boss again.
Now wouldn't that be lovely ;)
The ultimate questions
Finally you can ask yourself these often overlooked questions:
Why did my soul choose this physical body?
What do I most love to do?
What is the best future I can think of before the 'logical' side of my brain kicks in telling me it is impossible to achieve?
We must be CLEAR with our vision in order for the Universe to be able to respond.
Please remember the Universe does not respond to your physical actions but your vibration... your thoughts.
Forget all the physical stumbling blocks relating to the question of how it will unfold and simply focus on the vision, basking in the feeling it creates.
Feels great right?
In Conclusion
We came to Bali two years ago following the flow of energy after being invited here for a film job which I had just finished when I stumbled upon Steemit. It was not our intention to stay for so long but I felt strangely motivated by this platform to remain where we were and dedicate as much time as I could to the understanding the world of crypto.
Now this is done we are moving back to the South of France (in 10 days) where we will check in with our mothers and prepare for the next leg of our adventure.
It is our CLEAR VISION that once we leave France, we will lead a highly mobile existence bringing joy to the lives of all those whose path's we cross.
...and this includes teaching them about Steemit!
Yep, we will be branding the vehicle for sure... though most likely with the original logo which resonates with me deeply and will forever represent our two beloved currencies, Steem & Steem Dollars.

Funny how you meeting a guy in a jungle has changed my life too! From YouTube-ing 24/7, for $3... to Crypto Steemit Lifestyle! I already see you visiting me in Spain...... Rubber Tramps ;) I know you'll remember our miniature adventure....
Man that vehicle brings back memories! Brilliant :)
So happy to have you with me on this awesome steemit ride bro x
Im not just on the ride, I am going FULL TIMER!!! Steemit 24/7, with some sleeps & smoothies inbetween! This is only the quiet before the storm! You'll seeeeee......
We love living in our converted school bus!
You're kidding! I don't know how i didn't know that? The school bus is such a good size, I can really imagine having so much fun. Just not sure how many school busses have made it to Europe? We will find out soon enough....
seems we are all hitting the road this year! :)
Human nature. We weren't designed to sit at desks all our lives!
wow, great idea. do take care of the security as you will be travelling unknown places
Thanks. We will be as secure as we feel we need to be. Here in Bali, I've not locked my front door or car for over two years! And nothing ever went missing ;)
That's awesome. You truly are in a very secured place. Here in India, we are not sure about the security even if we lock the doors :)
A goal of the wife and I has been being able to buy a tiny home, either to use as an RV, or to travel the country and make our way as we may.
I hope your journey turns out to be fruitful!
Thank you. See you on the road my friend!
nice idea
Absolutely loving the RV vibes brother, jump into your vortex and be life in all that is to come!
Intention + Vibration = Manifestation ๐๐ฏ
Yes yes yes! You know it my bro. Big hugs to you gorgeous family ๐๐ป
Beautifully crafted piece. You deserve it! Go Sam!
Thanks Danny. I actually put a fair bit on energy into the construction & presentation of these articles. Always appreciated when someone notices this!
I am so glad I found your account. You are such an inspiring person, and you post easily readable content which is a huge plus.
We also agree on the vibration of thoughts subject. (You are what you vibrate) I see that I will learn so much from you! Regarding the mobile home, it is my wish for years now, so I gotta start sending vibrations to the universe. Sorry for the kinda long comment.
Peace be upon you and I wish beautiful and blessed life to you and your family.
Many thanks for your enthusiastic response to my words here. It's always a good boost to hear that I am inspiring people, for that is my ultimate intention.
No doubt you have a thing or two to teach me from your own experiences on this magical journey which is bringing so many of us now to these same conclusions :) Have followed your account for more...
Great dream! It is a worthy dream and a very doable one! We moved into our motorhome at the beginning of this year and had so much fun!!
I just started on Steem and I am planning on sharing more about our lifestyle.
I am very excited for your thinking about adopting this exciting lifestyle! It is challenging at times but oh so worth it!
Wishing you good luck!
Thanks very much! I can imagine how it might be challenging at times.... but also imagining all the fun we are going to have. And I like to think that having a home on wheels will enrich the lives of our young children getting to see so many different places :)
Traveling definitely will expand their horizons!
@samstonehill Now that's what I'm talking about. I believe in FREEDOM and that is what STEEMIT is giving to a lot of people.
After living on nothing but Steem for the last 9 months we feel confident now. Thank you Steemit for this awesome freedom ;)
this is a very inspirational post and i hope you achieve all your goals ,, steemit is the best
Thank you my friend. Appreciate your support :)
This is great idea. Living life by traveling on different destinations with this kind of vehicle is like living own dream.
Also with all of that working on Steemit! Pretty awesome.
I am big fan of VW hippy vans, and your post remind me that I would like to buy one in the future and make it looking good.
Me too! I have always drooled over those VW vans... Iโm not sure how my husband and I could make that dream come true as we are still in the thick of raising our three kids, but maybe, just maybe, someday...
I think they are not so expensive. If you have some knowledge you can fix interior and add "bed", kitchen parts and some stuff. Of course paint it as you like. Van like that could be used once or couple times a year for holiday. As interesting adventure your kids would love it for sure.
You may have just talked me into it! You make a good point on the travel with the kids...
Just think outside the box, give your family new things and experiences. Maybe I am not good to give advice since I haven't kids yet, but life is stressful for all of us and we with our closest people deserve best.
It most certainly is good advice! We have three kids, and with three kids it is very easy to become exhausted and lack creativity just due to how chaotic life can get. Sometimes it takes someone outside of your box to give a little perspective :)
I agree! It could be helpful to hear way of thinking of other people.
I am hoping that having kids won't slow us down too much! Ours are still both under the age of three so (relatively) little trouble for now...
the older they get, the easier to travel with for sure... our third one is just 18 months and is on a roll and rocking our world!!
We were wondering about that. Though I understand that when they hit their teens they generally want to stop traveling and have more permanent friendships....
Time will tell ;)
I believe all humans are travellers! We've just been sold the idea of buying a box, making it our own and living in it our whole lives.
Looking forward to a life on wheels very much!!!
Good thinking.
Great that I have reminding you of your dream. I'm also a big fan. My first car was a sky blue Beetle made in 1969 ;)
That's really good choice :)
That sounds so exciting! I'm glad that it seems your mobile home will be fueled off steem haha. You're the second user I've seen today that is going to travelling around from now on instead of staying in one place. I'm pretty jealous, I hope I can reach that point one day soon.
No need to be jealous. It is well within your reach. Believe it is possible and it will happen ;)
Some of those personally constructed ones are amazing. Friends of ours took an old bus - gutted the inside, installed a kitchen, beds etc. Raised the floor for storage. It was amazing. They drove it from London to South Africa. Much braver than I.
Amazing. Same journey my mother did. Though in a 4X4 I guess it was a rather different experience!
I just love the idea of a home on wheels :)
I wish you all the best in creating the most awesome mobile home possible. That bus looked pretty bad ass. Can't wait to see what you create.
Thanks bro. I'm pretty excited about it too :)
i should try to live in one of those!!!
I imagine it would be pretty fun ;)
What a Dream! I believe it will come true... I envy that dream, I would like to taste it also- to travel the world while earning. Thanks to steemit and cryptos this is now possible. God be with you @samstonehill as you travel the world. When you come to the Philippines, please drop by in our Place here in Zambales.
Thank you for your kind invite. For sure we MUST come to the Philippines one day. It is my destiny. Just as it was my father's :)
Great to hear that sir...thanks.
Did you catch this article about my father in the Philippines?

great work and nice photos <3 keep going
thanks!
Wish you the best of luck, you really are something else!
Thank you. I know you know we have to dream big ;)
Very nice text!
thanks!
That is one rv I'd be proud to own, great post
Probably a bit out of my price league that one...
and frankly I'm not too fussed as long as it gets us from A to B :)
OMG! I want that space vehicle on the top!! I'm afraid my budget will probably only allow for one of the ones closer to the bottom however. If I'm lucky.
Good luck to you and your family on your epic journey! You have a new follower, so I'll be along with you guys. lol
The space truck looks fun hey! We found some more real crackers looking online last night. Like you, our budget doesn't currently stretch that far... but it's good to dream ;)
You have a beautiful family, and seem to be living-the-life, so you're wealthier than a man with a truck full of gold!
So said it bro. Real wealth has nothing to do with money ;)
Mobile living is great. (with a family, I don't know...)
I still have my mobile home stuck in the UK, slowly decaying....
In my my younger days - I bought an old merc ambulance, and refitted it (badly), and then spent 7 months touring around Europe.
That was my first taste of mobile living, and I loved it!
Where in France are you heading to?
Am hoping that the addition of the family will only make it a richer adventure ;)
We will be living just outside of Perpignan.
Until the vehicle is acquired...
very niceeeeee @newlifeabdo
thanks!
I liked these ideas
thanks
REALLY GOOD IDEAS. YOU TURNED THE POST TO MONEY
Thanks! That's the general idea around here ;)
Many benefits of a mobile lifestyle for sure. Here's and idea for you lol
thanks for the ideas! Super retro :)
damn man, that looks kinda cool actually (-:
Damn right! Can't wait :)
The dream life even with a family. It takes courage especially in a competitive society in this modern age. Everyone wants a security status in the society. Your lifestyle brings admirations by many!
From my perspective the idea of security is an illusion. Many seem to fear the world out there. Too much watching the news I suspect!
The open road is not only safe but full of the most wonderful loving people all of whom want to invite you in and feed you :)
That has been my experience anyway!
Nice and very informative post !! great job
Thanks!
I see similar ideas pop up everywhere. I just wrote about my plan for doing pretty much the same :) I'm looking forward to read about your adventures @samstonehill
No time like the present I say! Thanks for your support.
Always massively appreciated :)
Awesome post! I love traveling, and love the manifesting a STEEM Mobile home for the family idea. Perfect. I can't wait to watch this unfold. I'm from the States but my sister and I got to run around France one evening when we had the opportunity to travel over your direction. It was beautiful. We be going back one day.
we as human being have these constant urge for more, the large home sometimes get stale and we just want to try something different and new to fill that urge.... reason we have moving houses, tree homes, some right in the sea......
Great man, great ideas ! Antoine
At the risk of repeating what others may have all ready said, considerations are things like, are we going to travel to only warm areas or are we gonna face some colder weather? And with climate change, you will need to keep up with areas you travel to. If you are going to park it anywhere cold, then you will have to do extra insulating if it's RV, if it's tiny home or rebuild, you can automatically do that. MAKE SURE mechanical parts are still running well, BEFORE buying. Unless you plan to learn how to fix it yourself. (love the model with detachable car~excellent!) Also, modern is a problem in another way, electric cars cannot stay out in cold weather very long without having start up problems. THUS, they always need shelter of some kind from elements if cold. I don't know if they have fixed that problem yet, but I know it is an issue with electric cars. Hybrid is better and I don't know how it is in europe on this. But if you are gonna be too far for average fixes, then yeah, your thinking is spot on. Best things to consider is how you and family typically live. Do the kids hang with you in bed most of the time? Then think about guards for loft room and if you want to haul them up and down. Making small stairs will help that, things like that. What you eat, how many burners you need, how much refrigeration, many have said composting toilet is easier to deal with, than having to do the black water....etc....think on these things carefully and list them will help before you buy/build. :)
Sounds like a great way to see new things and share with others. Best wishes on your travels and hope you get to experience some great adventures. I have seen a few of the converted school buses before but also there are so many other possibilities I don't know if I could choose one to travel and live in :)
I've always had a plan to build my own mobile home and travel the world. Those modern homes look cool but they're something that doesn't actually resonate with me. I would prefer something classy and old school. Seems like we have the same goals. Great post. :D
I am a big fan of thinking my way into the future with positivity ๐ ...Believe to achieve.goodluck!..bravo
Believe to achieve :) Great words
love the different truck homes... makes one think of not only the near future but how humans will live and survive in the distant future... dream big!! thank you
For sure that school bus ain't legal on the road! And I wouldn't like to drive it in high wind.
What have you heard about the South of France?
We lived there for a year before Esteban was born and found it to be amazing. It's a pretty stunning region.
I will look up some images of the Pullman now... thanks for the tip ;)
