What interesting shots!
Some time ago, long before this winter storm weather, I had an idea about creating a children's book called, "Can Bugger Catch a Bullfrog?" The goal was to have an entertaining tale about perseverance in the face of struggle be crafted with a plethora of interesting images to accompany it. I was hoping to have some cool-looking photos of a massive bullfrog repeatedly escaping the capture efforts of our boy, "Bugger."
I'm working on putting a rough draft of the book together now, and currently I've been editing the underwater photos. The raw images were captured last summer, so it had been a while since I saw these, and they impressed me enough to share. Below are some of my favorites. We'll see how many make the final cut, but these are in the running at the moment.
We love spending time outdoors and interacting with different creatures, so this was a really fun project for us. Bugger got to practice snorkeling too, and was able to check out this impressive amphibian beneath the surface of a local creek. I think it was family time well spent, and I really like the results we were able to capture. What do you think?
