After hoping for years to come across the native pawpaw in the wilds of the Ozarks, we finally hit the goldmine this year. We encountered an amazing grove of wild pawpaws and were incredibly blessed by the harvest we were able to reap. To see our full video on that adventure click here
In this video, we try to combat the short shelf life of these tasty wild fruits and test some of the culinary parameters of them by crafting our first ever Pawpaw Ice Cream. Honestly, I wish we had more in the freezer.... I can't wait for next year!

I noticed your Pawpaw discovery video after I finished watching your last one. I had to do a little research to find out more about Pawpaws. I'm really excited to discover them now too! They seem like quite the awesome treat for sure! Congrats Pepper Family on your blessed find this harvest!!
Yeah, they have quite a native range in the US, and are very interesting, I'd never tasted anything quite like it. We are looking forward to getting more started on our own property.
