I had gathered things to harvest cabbage but I went and plugged in the cooler to get it cooling down and had to brush off the coils as they were SUPER dirty. I decided to NOT harvest so I could let the cooler get down to temp and harvest today.

I went to my IFS appointment and am gaining traction now. Putting "faces" to parts helps immensely and has kick started the process pretty well.

The Euros are on and OMG was it HILARIOUS to watch CR7 in tears. I really was hoping Slovenia would get them in the penalty shots but nope. Baby boy Ronaldo got a goal finally and Portugal won.

It was partly cloudy and I was in the garden pulling weeds by the greenhouse, then the sun came out and it got hot fast.

I went to dump the bucket into the sheep pen and decided to dive into the pole garden and pull weeds in it. I worked my way down the bean row which was the most overgrown. It was handy that I just tossed the weeds over the fence to the sheep.

I grabbed my really old fly rod and reel and went out to the driveway for about 15 minutes of casting practice. HOLY SHIT was I surprised when my cast was right on point. The muscle memory is super strong with my form and I was able to lay the line nicely and the simulated hook fell sweetly at the end. I have almost complete full extension on the cast and damn I'm anxious for the new line so I can swap over to my Eagle Claw rod.

The clouds moved over and seriously helped with the heat. It dropped to about 70F and I was able to get the bush bean rows weeded in the main garden. It is a slow and plodding process to weed everywhere so I just pick a row or 2 and get at it.

We had some nice thunderstorms to our north and this one just skimmed past us.

We got some rain from it but not a ton. Just enough to wet the deck for a while until it evaporated.

I got the trailer hooked up and the bed liner strapped down for the grain run I have done this morning already.

It was just little cells that were moving past so the sprinkles were only for a few minutes at a time.

What a shit show the US match was. That was hands down the worst ref I have seen in a match, ever. In one of the most consequential matches for the US and UEFA puts that complete waste of space as the ref... UEFA knew what they were doing.

While the abortion of a match was on I got a bit of time at the board and managed some solid aim. Nice 121 followed by a 117.

Then this was awesome, even though I didn't get the triple I dropped that middle dart exactly between the others.

Out to soak a bit later and the bit of wind helped keep the sky piranhas at bay.

I have been to town for a load of grain already and will go empty it soon. When North 40 opens I am going to go get a pair of better life vests that are on sale, I have tons of weeding still to do, we are on the heat up now and expect 100+F next week so will want to try to work in the mornings more than the afternoons, there will be flying at Inkler's today but I won't be going despite my desire to, and I have to prep for sheep shearing.
