VIDEO AND VOICE RECORDING OF DOCTORS: LEGAL RIGHTS OR A CRIME?

in #health6 days ago

A very hot question for discussions now: if a patient has a right to make voice and video records of doctors during visits to them?

Opinions are different. People are FOR this rule because it gives them a chance to control the situation and have basis for their own safety.

Unfortunately, now there are so few really good doctors whom people can trust, who really can treat deseases and take care of people's health.
Most of them just do nothing prescribing useless dangerous pills that can take sympthoms away but they have nothing in common with health and treatment.

We have state and private doctors and hospitals. If you go to state hospitals, you have free medical services but as a rule you have to wait for it (there are too many sick people and too few doctors).

In private hospitals you can get fast service but it's expensive. And not always good.

We have doctors and private hospitals in every street almost, but in fact, we have almost nobody who really can treat and help. But nevertheless, the price for medical services is just crazy!
it's very expensive to be sick!!
You must pay not only for pills but also for every visit to the doctor (even if this visit lasts for 5 min)!

Moreover, if treatment is useless for you, or, even worse, you feel worse after it - doctors have no responsibility for it!
"it's just your health pecualarities"
"it's your immunity problems"
"it's your age difficulties" etc.

So what?
People pay for nothing! For their hope only.

Not long ago a new rule appeared - patients have a right to make voice and video records of their doctor's recommendations.

But medical staff wasn't glad to have sych changes....
WHY? I wonder...
What are they afraid of??

The last news created a wave of sarcasm in society:

Threatening announcements appeared in the Central District Hospital in one of my country's regions.
The announcements say:
"Video recording without the employee's consent is an offense and entails liability under Part 2 of Article 13.11 of the Code of Administrative Offenses." Patients are also required to refrain from recording their voices.

🔸The head of the Region Health Department stated that the bans are justified by Federal Law No. 152-FZ "On Personal Data":
"In our opinion, video and audio recording of medical workers is the processing of their biometric personal data, which is possible only with the consent of medical workers."

Oh, the Health Department knows how to turn laws upside down!
But they forget that data can be called "biometrics" if the purpose is to identify a person!
Patients have absolutely different goals!

So all these announcements are nothing more that restriction of citizens' rights, they have no legal background and mean nothing!

People do have a right to protect their own rights and health!

What do you think, guys?
What is the situation in your place?
Is medical service always good and safe?
Do you trust doctors?
Do you visit state or private hospitals?
