What's Up STACKERS!
Let's have a conversation about something that most people talk about but never go through with it... and that subject is about Goals! 📝
Every time at the end of the year, people talk about setting up goals... any where from making more money, losing weight, having more freedom and many other things. 🎯
What I found out many years ago is that people tend to set their goals to low and never follow up on them because they set them to small... eventually giving up weeks after.🙇🏼
Why does this happen? The main reason is because to many people don't write them down, forget about them, or even worse yet... don't even set them high enough!
For example, in May 2018 when I joined Steemit... I wrote down goals (Yes, I really did) on what I wanted to accomplish on this platform.
I made my "Goals" pretty crazy that it was kind of hard and outrageous to accomplish but obtainable if I just "put in the time".
As a fellow Minnow 🐠 from the start, I set my goals to be in the "Top 1000 Steemians" in all categories... all the way from Steem Power, Steem Value, Reputation Score, Post/Comment, Curation, Author Rewards etc... etc...
Guess what happened? I blew my goals out of the water and since then, I created new goals. My new goals is to reach the top 100 people on Steemit in 2018! 📆
Can this be done? Who knows, always set your goals so high that you keep trying to acheive it and your friends start calling you a "nutcase"! 🤣
This isn't really about Steemit but I wanted to show you an example how one can reach high limits in life by having "Crazy Outrageous Goals"!
So do you want to make more money 💰 in 2018? Write down what you are currently making and what you want to achieve... it's simple as that.
For Example: If you are making $1,000 a month 💸, why not set a goal to make $10,000 a month and write down the steps you have to take to accomplish that.
Be sure to write everything down every single day so you can track your progress, it will only take you about 10 minutes 🕖 a day to do.
Don't have the time you say? Stop making excuses and wake up 10 minutes earlier in a day, you can sleep when your dead. 😅🤣
So what are your goals for 2018? Do you have "Crazy" goals and wrote them down at least? Are they even realistic?
Hope this little message helps you out in some kind of way. It's not that hard to achieve what you want in life, you just have to "Really... Really Want It" and do what ever necessary to do it.
It will take some sacrifice but I'm telling you right now... you will be much happier and more of a successful person when 2019 comes along. 💁♂️

The wish i think everyone wants it, what make people successful is their ability to push forward everytime, keep hustling and never give up. Ambition and motivation is key, motivation can easily get lost when the losses come in

You have to want it, you have to want it more than others, and fight it for it harder and longer than anyone else. Do you want it newbies? I sometimes, do and sometimes don't. For me its less about the rush and more about the journey. Now that I have made it this point Im happy to grow at a constant pace.

I am planning to post my goals for next years and after reading this I will make them a little more difficult.
The only thing we need is dedication and discipline
Be sure to make your goals so high that when you show it to people, they start calling you crazy and all you have to do is just prove them wrong 😀

5.Supporting myself with crypto.
6.Getting better at graphic design.

I have many more goals that I would like to achieve but these are some of the main ones that I would like to complete @stackin.

2018.12.31. -> ~$500k profit. That's my goal. It's not unbelievably huge(considering the booming cryptomarket) but a LOT of money for me for sure. It's achievable, I just have to stick to the plan and it is going to happen.
If we play our cards right, those numbers will be easy with the boom in crypto! :)

That is a great example of a law of attraction in progress! I myself have a goal of reaching a 58 reputation score. I want my votes to weight more and reward people who I see writing good posts.
I also plan to take under my wing one plankton a week. So I usually go through the introduceyourself tag and look for new talent there to mentor and help by giving tips and techniques I have found in my 4 months of staying in Steemit. I am no expert yet but I believe some of the things I learned are invaluable to those starting out
Right now this is a hobby, a side quest to the main story but I would really want to eventually earn more in Steemit. I usually power up and use bots to earn more. I recently cashed out about 15 SBD just to create a post and also to show people in Facebook and other social media that Steemit is real. I still get a lot of its a scam, why would people give you money if you are an unknown talent or the worst you are not good enough to get that kind of money. There is just a lot of judgemental people out there. With the proof I did that shut up some of my detractors.

I think the goals and goals in life are so important that we focus more on an accomplishment we want. And in my opinion, if you keep trying and hard work, surely you will be the top 100 in steemit. Succes for you my friends...😎😎😎

You can do it... I totally believe that if a person wants it bad enough, they can accomplish it :)
Sometimes the fear of not being able to attain set goals stops one from setting them and just go with the flow. I choose not to just go with the flow next year.
What you can do is make crazy goals like I'm going to make a Million Dollars in 2018! Many won't believe you but thats ok, at least you have huge goals :)

One that has helped me.. "Goal-buddy.com".
I like HOW it Forces you to REALLY DETAIL (i.e, break the goal up into small sections, that u can then ACHIEVE easily) .
Also it will let one SET Up #Email reminders... in INTERVALS, like say once a month ♦♦ In that way, one doesn't forget to STAY on Track !

That's one thing I didn't do when I first started was write down my goals. I need to do that for my end of 2018 goals so that way I can start working towards achieving that goal.
My mannnn, thats how you do it. Just spend a few minutes a day at it, I started writing goals down more than a decade ago, it changed my life :)
And also - there's a Book called "Finding Your Own North Star" that can help people who are Confused about things (and about themselves & What MAKES them Tick ).
Once you've identified your strong pts/weak points, why then u can go to work on yourself better (more intelligently)

Mannnn, That's a good goal to have, especially that Silver... I plan to increase my Silver Pile also! It's so cheap still around $17!
Yes well I think a 5% increase in my supply every year is healthy. Be nice to have more but this year is going to be a tight year I think.

I set goals, but leave the goal part 'open'. By this I mean, whether I write it down on paper, or say it out loud or even just in my head, I will say for instance (if my income was say $1000,-) that my goal is to reach $10,000 or better. This doesn't limit you to the $10,000. But yeah, I think you're doing a great job at reaching your crazy goals! Stay crazy!
You can make all the goals you want. You can even write them down. You can even work on them, but if Life gets in the way, those goals will never be realized.
All it takes is losing that one job that you really like, and not being able to find another one. Or you lose a family member and never totally recover.
Or, as in my case, you lose your good job and have to take another that you don't really enjoy. You know, the one where they use you and never acknowledge your worth.
Or even worse, you never know what goals to set, or you set unrealistic goals.
I could go on and on...but I'd bore you.
You know what, everyone goes through that... so why are there still winners in life? :)
