RE: 500+ SBD BOUNTY & POTENTIAL STEEMGIG - HELP ME IMPROVE STEEMIT

in #bounty7 years ago

Hmmm.... It still seems a little lacking to me, checked it out a but right now, and it pulled up all sorts of unrelated posts... not quite what I was looking for, but I'll play around with it some more.

Still looks like a great tool though! Thanks!

Here is the intro post with more info on how to use the tool if you're interested: https://steemit.com/steemit/@thekyle/introducing-asksteem-a-steem-search-engine

Of course, I'm always working to make it better. Could you let me know what queries you were trying?

I'm refining it right now, and came from asksteem to check this because I saw your reply.

Right now I was just trying searching by typing in the following:
@papa-pepper #life

The fourth result in the search was a post from @riosparada about my wild and strange contest.

Personally, I was looking for a way to pull up only posts from a specific user that they posted in a specific tags, sorted from newest to oldest.

Thought your tool is obviously helpful and beneficial, it does not seem to be capable of this at the moment, does it? Please let me know what you think, and thanks so much for all of your awesome work! Nice to meet you @thekyle!

It's kinda rough around the edges but:
author:"papa-pepper" AND tags:life
will return all the posts by you tagged with life, I'm working on refining the UX in the future.

OK, I'll check that out. Thank you!

Later today, I'll try building a dedicated UX on top of the AskSteem backend to make doing what you requested easier. :)

Cool! Thank you! Great!

Here is an application based on AskSteem that will filter posts by reverse chronological order, tag, and user. https://www.asksteem.com/userexplorer
