Through The Horizon

Social space is a place of duplicity and false pretense
what one sees there is too often chimerical and malicious
it is but a mirage
subsiding within an arid desert
which only carries as sand
the lowest of human passions

then we move away from men
even further from women
when our eyes are no longer virgins
in the face of their cowardice and betrayal

it is better to distantly gaze
through the empty horizon
and be able to finally close our eyes
on what is as sublime as it is unknown

between hope and apprehension
life is so beautiful and instructive
