This summer we opted for an excursion to St. Tropez. After 932 miles with a Golf GTI cabriolet, we arrived at our destination of Saint-Tropez.
This was followed by the check-in in the Font Mourier.
Font Mourier
The Location is on the edge of a pine forest dominating the Gulf of Saint-Tropez.
Our room was peaceful and elegant with a wonderful view the Gulf of Saint Tropez.
There were a very large swimming-pool, with pool bar, outdoor couches and sun beds where guests can enjoy cocktails to the music of chirping crickets.
Saint-Tropez
Saint Tropez which cosmopolitan port city on the Côte d'Azur, on the Gulf of Saint-Tropez between Toulon and Cannes in the var Department.
The small coastal town has been preserved until today his charm and is the meeting place of the beautiful and Rich especially in the high season.
The well-kept streets with small farms, where olive trees grow, as well as the magnificent vegetation in the village give a special flair of Saint-Tropez.
Port
There are very good parking at the new port, drag to the old port.
From here, you can very well start the sightseeing tour.
In addition to the beautiful harbor with its towers and yachts,
it is advisable also through the streets up to the old Citadel to run and to visit them.
Citadel of Saint Tropez
The Citadel was built in 1602 in their current size as a defense against the Ottoman Empire.
The most powerful fortification of the coast line between Antibes and Toulon city protected for more than 400 years.
From here you have a wonderful view on Saint-Tropez, as well as on the Gulf of St-Tropez.
Pampelonne Beach
South of Saint Tropez at Ramatuelle, one of the longest sand beach of the Côte is Riviera. With approximately 2,8 miles length of beach "Pampelonne" stretches from the Cap du Pinet to the Pointe de la Bonne Terrace.
The beach is actually referred to as the main beach of Saint Tropez, although it is located near Ramatuelle.
On the beach are numerous beach bars, restaurants and music clubs.
Here the celebrity factor or the look and be seen is the highest.
L'Opera
Here is eating a minor matter, because it is normal at the changing show programme that the tables are to the catwalk and balance the models between filled plates and glasses.
The Opera features outstanding dancers and artists who perform one after the other on the central podium tables, as on improvised stages, transport you to another world for an exception evening's entertainment.
With a perfect view of the port of Saint-Tropez, perfectly framing the warm hues of the buildings of the old town and with the church in the distance, L'Opera's charming terrace overhangs the quays where yachts from all over the world moor.
Inside you will discover enormous, comfortable, leather sofas, oversized vases and lights, and a shaped bar covered with mirrors;
the ultra-chic, white and gold décor throughout emphasizes the designs and refinement in keeping with the area without any ostentation.
Au revoir Saint-Tropez
"One more thing . . ."
. . . to complete it with the words of Steven Jobs.
Back we drove through Monaco, that we can add this beautiful view our life memories
