HAWAII'S Kilauea volcano has taken an even deadlier and more dangerous turn, as the lava which has now seriously injured one person has reached the Pacific Ocean, resulting in the production of acid fumes which have been likened to battery acid. It is considered deadly because now the toxic materials release from this volcano has finally reach the Pacific ocean and with this acid fumes, steam, and tiny glass-like particles released from the volcanic activities, it is enough to cause serious eye and respiratory problems.
The air quality index for the town of Kona, about 40 miles northwest of the volcano, is currently at ‘orange’, meaning that the elderly and those with respiratory problems could be at risk.

The long goodbye - Barefooted Andrés Iniesta sits alone in empty stadium until 1am

When you've called a place home for over two decades, it can be hard to say goodbye.
Just ask Andres Iniesta, 34, who played the last of his 674 Barcelona matches Sunday, before remaining on the Camp Nou pitch long into the night.
The legendary midfielder was a picture of solitude as he sat barefoot in the area of the pitch he cast his spell, reflecting on his long and storied career one final time.
Iniesta first walked through the doors of the Spanish club's La Masia academy as a young boy, "crying rivers" as he left his parents behind.
In the 22 years since, he has won 32 trophies and the respect of even Barcelona's greatest rivals.
"I will miss you very much. I came here as a boy and I leave at 34 years of age a man. Thanks to everyone who asked me to stay, you will always be in my heart."

Emery to be named next Arsenal manager after club decide against Arteta

No Nigerian refinery worked up to 50% capacity in 2017 – NNPC

The NNPC has four major refineries, two in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, which combine to form the Port Harcourt Refining Company (PHRC) with a combined installed capacity of 210,000 barrels per stream day (bpsd); the Kaduna Refining and Petrochemical Company Limited (KRPC) with an installed capacity of 110,000 bpsd; and the Warri Refining and Petrochemical Company Limited (WRPC) with an installed capacity of 125,000 bpsd. All the refineries have a combined installed capacity of 445,000 barrels per day.
After all the investigation done on the 4 refinery, the report says that the possible solutions to the state of the refineries, he said, “the cheapest, easiest and most reasonable today, is to build new refineries, but because it is Nigeria we know ourselves, people in governance would favour turn around maintenance because there is a lot of money to be made.”
On the adoption of modular refineries, he said “they are not for a country like Nigeria.”
