I don't watch Game of Thrones, but seeing the cave was still pretty cool! We were in Northern Iceland, in a town called Mývatn, and stopped by the famous lagoon and cave. From the outside, it was pretty hidden, and we had to crawl through some rocky tunnels and into the cave. Once you got inside, it was pretty warm, the spring water heated up the cave. The water was really blue and almost looked like it was glowing. When I touched the water, I was surprised by how warm it was! It was the perfect temperature, like a natural bath. Light streamed in through cracks in the stone ceiling and the cave felt magical!
Here (in this slightly blurry!) picture you can see the blue water and how clear it was. The cave was pretty big inside and opened up as a really nice room! Someone overheard our excitement and told us a brief history of the cave. According to the guy, this old cave was used by the first Iceandic settlers or vikings as baths. They would gather in here and warm themselves in the naturally heated pool during the cold year. They would sit on the rocks (that actually make quite nice seats) and talk together. After he told us this, I could feel the history and all that happened inside of this ancient cave.
Voices echoed and dust shimmered in the rays of light from above. It was quiet except for the water dripping from the ceiling (and dozens of tourists taking selfies as committed Game of Thrones fans).
Here are some photos of the area around the cave. Mývatn had tons of rock formations and plants, it looked like something out of Lord of the Rings! If you're in Iceland or planning a trip there, try to hit up Mývatn! There are lots of cool trails to hike, bright blue hotsprings to swim in, and even an old crater to climb!

why moneytag tags do not help each other upvote again, I've invited some other users to create a moneytag tag in one of their post tags, and they tell me that they do not get upvote.
Hai @nytravelfoodsurf users I am joining in this tag include: @zein94, @polo12, @madansani and @polo06, they say the same thing to me, does this tag still work?
The tag will always work, I have just been busy the past week and haven't been on steemit. I just went through moneytag and upvoted any posts there, and will do so again tomorrow... Keep inviting users!Hi @munawir1994
