Travel to Georgia - Batumi

It appears near our temporary house not only the persimmon, here still the whole garden of tangerines and oranges grows!!! Kind owners allowed us to take a walk in a garden and to gather fruit. I never ate so many tangerines:)

Наконец-то! Погода на последние дни осени в Батуми. Иду купаться.  

Batumi pleases with extremely low prices of seasonal fruit - for only 3 lari (~ $ rubles 2,2/84) we bought 10 kg of kilograms of a regulus!!! Also the granny gave the whole bag of tangerines for 2 lari, but at us is in their garden and so is enough).

We, undoubtedly, were lucky with the price, the usual prices of seasonal fruit (the prices in lari for kg, $1 = are lower than 2,4 lari):

Miracle stick.

Persimmon trees rather high, and branches very thin to climb on a tree and to collect fruits is quite problematic. Our good neighbors showed and taught how to collect a persimmon in the simple way. For collecting a persimmon use a long five-meter stick with a bag and teeth on the end. With the help by a tooth the fruit clings, the stick lasts on itself and in the parties then the fruit falls in a bag. Brilliant invention! After couple of attempts, I learned to cope with this adaptation. Happy we carried away the whole bag of a persimmon absolutely free of charge:) 

The last days of fall in Batumi

While the Katyusha sleeps, I prepare a surprise - I am engaged in production of juice from just collected oranges and tangerines:)

The first day of winter came! Cold weather gradually reaches also us - now about +8, heavy rain, wind and huge waves:) 

Again the same Batumi, the same window, the same tree of a persimmon in winter transformation. Waters 3 days and to forecasts will water a week more... All my things and footwear were blotted, 3 days dry, I feel with such humidity and lack of heating will dry a week more... Not to go outside even and there is no wish... In the house it is very cold, I sleep under two blankets how here people live without heating?! Yesterday our roads dispersed from the fellow traveler and now I one again. Probably was to buy early tickets to India, we are not so long familiar and I hurried with such important decision... To me something is absolutely sad, in Batumi absolutely there is no wish to remain, it is time to move somewhere. I do not know yet where to go, there is not a lot of options, but I think it is time to go home.

Prior to a meeting of Batumi, I go home! Ahead the night train to Tbilisi, a self-locking device to Vladikavkaz and 36 hours by train to Moscow. Prior to a meeting in Moscow!

The night train to Tbilisi was just awful: chairs are not adapted for a dream, a back rigid in any way and do not fall, even 13 hour train to Kazan were more pleasant:) Pleases that all ended, only 5,5 hours went. 

Having bought by souvenirs and food, we went to Didube's station to take a minibus to Mtsekhta from where our stop to Vladikavkaz will begin. Marshrutochniki is frightened by sad news - filled up the road with snow a few days ago and to us not to get to Vladikavkaz today in any way, we do not trust, we go to check. 

The first caught driver reported to us about blockages about Gudauri too, he called the girlfriend who was there a day ago, she claims that the road is blocked and to us not to leave anywhere.

We think what to do... The driver goes to Batumi, tempts to go with it, always so to such long distances.:) While Katya communicates with the driver's girlfriend by phone, I hurry to look at news, I find nothing about blockages, I look for plane tickets from Tbilisi, Istanbul, Kutaisi... To Turkey there is no wish to go at all, the plane from Tbilisi around 12 now, to come back to Batumi the reluctance too... After all we decide to try to catch the car towards Vladikavkaz and to learn from skilled drove about a situation on the pass. 

Old Merce stops, the gloomy old man says that the road was cleared yesterday and it is possible to go. We get into the car with hope that it will be good. 

The driver all road trashed other nationalities and as everything is bad, yet he never looked in the face, very strange uncle though at the end of a trip on his stern face the smile began to slip:) Actually filled up the pass, but today the road already partially cleared away, places ice, but it is possible to go.  

We are the real lucky - cleared away the road, it is possible to go home!!! Through the snow fairy tale we reached border where we were waited by a huge stopper... To stand here, most likely, very long, cars do not move at all, and to the train only 3 hours... We think to walk. It is the most moronic border - here it is impossible to pass on foot, only on a car, I go to learn from the frontier guard how many to wait and whether it is possible to pass on foot to ask to get into other car. Surprisingly the frontier guard was very friendly - without problems, go, only not really far! 

Having cut off a turn floor, we found children from Vladik, they transported tangerines, cars chock, but all the same took us with themselves:)

On border there were questions about Iran, but it is rather for the sake of own interest, about safety, the prices, hotels and тп:) From border we flooded an abrupt Mercedes which in 20 minutes took us directly to the station. Were in time! Abruptly I crossed all Georgia a self-locking device, from Vladikavkaz to Ninotsminda, from Adjara to Kakheti:)
