Edinburgh Castle sits in the centre of my hometown on top of an extinct Volcano. It has lost its appeal for most Edinburgers but it still fascinates me everyday on my way to work.

Not so much list its appeal but you stop appreciating everyday sights if you don't stop and have a second look.
Guess that's something everyone living in the same place for a while can relate to. We tend to stop paying attention to things around us...
