The "spider"

In this blogpost I shall introduce you to what my family calls an "Nadine-Act". A small story that is very much true, but only happens to me. You may call it clumsiness or stupidity, but it happens to me before I know it. I have so many "Nadine-Acts" that I do not feel any shame about it. The same goes with the story of "The not so spider".

Where I live the animals are not dangerous. The most dangerous animals you have here are bunnies, because they steal carrots.
The spiders here look scary, but are in general harmless. But there is one spider that is dangerous: the Black House-spider, or what I like to call "The black heart-attack".
They do not harm humans in general but they are big, black and fast. So every normal human being will scream, run and get a heart-attack when they see one.

Its a cold winter evening and I am preparing myself to go to my bed.
I leave my glasses downstairs and walk towards my bedroom. Suddenly its there, the Black Heart-attack!!!
I see a big black spot running under my bed, and my brain goes into alarm-mode. I scream as hard as I can and fall on my back. Like a rabbit on a parket floor I try to crawl away from the "Black danger". Afraid that it wants to hug me with one of its eight legs.
I run downstairs to get my glasses and the vacuum cleaner and gather all my courage to face my mortal enemy.
I say one last goodbye to my goldfish "Harry" and go upstairs. I walkin my bedroom with my sight sharp and a weapon/ vacuum cleaner in hand. I'm prepared to fight my enemy and look under the bed. Finally I face my mortal enemy and.... it's a small black moth.

Tip: Always wear your glasses when you prepare to go to bed. Then you won't mistake a moth for a spider.
