John 16:22
And ye now therefore have sorrow: but I will see you again, and your heart shall rejoice, and your joy no man taketh from you.

It is one thing to have joy, and its another thing to have unlimited Joy. Walking in unlimited Joy is thus the desire of Jesus Christ for all his disciples.
The 24th verse of our text however indicates that we do not have unlimited Joy because we have not asked and even when we have asked we often do not have answers because we have become our own enemies according Isa 59:1-2 as a result of our Sins. This brings me think, why would any child of God still play with sin knowing that it hinders answers to prayers? Unfortunate truth that explains this is the fact that more often than not we do hate iniquities enough to refrain from it.
Furthermore, James in chapter 4:3 tells us that because we ask amiss, and for our selfish desire/needs, to satisfy our lust
The correction and aswer to this error is anwered in 1 John 5:14
And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us:

It is imperative to pray according to the will of God so as to get answers to our prayers and petitions.
Take for instance there is this feeling of accomplishment that upwells within you when preparing for an exam or a test which perhaps will involve calculations and and as you prepare with some practice questions and you just see your self answering and getting all your answers rightly, its usually beautifully but your Joy always knows no bound when you finally receive your question papers in the exam and behold the questions you have practiced with, UNLIMITED JOY is always certainly the feeling.
Lots of examples abound in the scriptures that illustrates instances of unlimited joy; We have the case of the disciples return from their first missionary journey "..even the demons were subject to us..."
The day of pentecost, Peter and John at the gatr called beautiful etc.
Hey folks, there is no doubt that as much as we desire to have Joy, there is that level of Joy that is just incomparable and immeasurable.
So why not make efforts to have have the Joy unlimited than just what we might have today and tomorrow is troubled.

Thanks for your time and May the good lord flood our hearts and minds and life with UNLIMITED JOY.
