Fact is that STEEM blockchain runs so efficiently that it can afford to hemorrhage cash and the whales don't want to disgorge their horde at $30 million marketcap. I'm hoping for cheaper, but volume has dried up..
Whales can stop the leaks whenever they want, but why would they care if like a cartel, they are all happy with their current disposable income. STEEM as a business it is then. Try to provide subjective value, but you will soon learn that it takes effort to contribute. And it's not that the average joe is lazy, its that he is just plain old tired from trying to buy the basics to eat.
The lazy minnows in life don't have a chance. and why should it be any different with STEEM-life?

I know that you would like your post to be noticed, but using tags improperly makes it hard to find relevant content. Doing this your way we would end up with having all posts thrown into 5 most popular categories. There would be no reason to use tags / categories at all.

If in doubt it is always better to not use a tag than to abuse it.I do not know what tags you should use for your post. I was just browsing #introduceyoruself category looking for people introductions and found something that is not an introduction for sure. Maybe check #curation and #economics if those fit your needs.
