MY JOURNEY SO FAR ON STEEMIT

in #stach7 years ago

20180128_095554-01.jpegI'm excited to tell you all that, today marks my 30th day on this platform. I know that's not a long time but I feel like I've been on here for a longer while.
My journey on Steemit hasn't been easy at all but I can boldly say it's worth it. It's worth it in the sense that Steemit has changed my life in so many ways. Steemit has impacted positively in my life. Before i discovered Steemit, I used to waste alot of my time doing mostly nothing. I would spend 70 percent of my time on other social media platforms like Facebook, Instagram and Twitter just for the fun of it and at the end I wont get paid. Yes I know fun is good  but what is fun without working and getting  paid? They say "all work and no play makes Jack a dull boy". But what about the vice versa. "All play and no work makes Jack a broke boy". So while having fun, be sure to work and earn some cool cash.

Back to my journey on steemit. My first days on Steemit was really really frustrating. I mean I couldn't even understand a thing about the platform. But Thank God I had few friends who were able to help me out. @victoryudofia who introduced me to Steemit was really of great help to me. He helped me through the processes of creating an account and making a post. @samstickkz whom I got my first sbd from was really helpful and is still of great help to me. @Utomobong, lol! I still recall when you laughed at me because I had no post on my blog. It was sorta embarrassing at that moment but you messaged me privately and took it upon yourself to be of great help to me. You've been wonderful. @samuelwealth, You, I really can't thank you enough. You always take out time to make sure I understand everything that there is to know. You've been so wonderful guys. Thanks alot.

Look away from the reward first
Be yourself and write from your heart
Use the correct titles and tags
Go through others post and learn from itI know I haven't really made a lot of cash on Steemit but the little I've made so far has really been of great help to me truthfully. But as @samuelwealth once said to me

Like I said earlier, before I discovered Steemit, I wasted alot of my time basically doing nothing. But now with Steemit, I'm mostly occupied, I suddenly picked interest in writing stories and poems. I always dig deep to the innermost part of my mind to find that which is hidden so as to share my thoughts with my fellow steemians. I spend most of my time on Steemit going through other people's posts learning a few things about Steemit. Grooming my mind on how to improve myself daily and giving you all good contents. Because content is everything.
No matter how long your post is, if it doesn't have good contents, then you leave your readers unsatisfied.Truthfully, these words have been my guide so far on Steemit and it has really been of great assistance to me. Because if I was so fixated on the rewards only without learning other things about Steemit, I could have lost focus. Thanks once again @samuelwealth.

Steemit has helped me socialize. I was never a social person before Steemit. But i got to realize that making friends with your fellow steemians could really be helpful. My advice"In life , we need certain people at certain stages to succeed, so never look down on anyone because no one knows tomorrow". I got the opportunity to join different Steemit groups and discord servers to interact with different people from various races.

Lastly, there was a time I was so discouraged about Steemit because I felt like I wasn't fitting in. But I once had a discussion with a whale @Ejemai, greetings Sir. He told me about his first days on Steemit, how he was actually doing worse than me then. Lol, I felt a bit relieved. He started from the scratch with no one to help him out but now, look where he is. His story inspires me so much to work harder. So if you ever feel like giving up on Steemit, just check this out. This is @ejemai now! https://steemit.com/@ejemai

Nothing good comes easy! You gotta work very hard! There's never an easy path to success. You gotta be consistent. Hardwork and consistency is the key. And I strongly believe that soon enough I'll become a whale and make it big enough to help the Steemit community become a better place and also help the newbies grow and develop their minds.
