What is amazing about these trophies are some of the stories that are attached to them. The coolest part about the Stanley Cup is that every player on the winning team gets to have the cup for few days. They usually take it to their hometown and have a parade and what not but they also do some pretty crazy stuff. There are stories of the cup ending up at the bottom of a pool and players sleeping with the cup. The cup has had to be repaired a few times because of mishaps. There is even a “keeper” of the cup. A guy who stays with the cup and makes sure it is safe.
