There are two values for these trophies, the monetary and the sentimental, the latter I think is the strongest and makes you keep the flame of memory alive, I think I would not sell a jewel like that, I would keep it in a very special place to preserve my grandchildren!

What is amazing about these trophies are some of the stories that are attached to them. The coolest part about the Stanley Cup is that every player on the winning team gets to have the cup for few days. They usually take it to their hometown and have a parade and what not but they also do some pretty crazy stuff. There are stories of the cup ending up at the bottom of a pool and players sleeping with the cup. The cup has had to be repaired a few times because of mishaps. There is even a “keeper” of the cup. A guy who stays with the cup and makes sure it is safe.

No matter what when it's come to International Events then it's really great to watch the enthusiasm by different countries and sports is just not an sports and inturn it will teach us so much if we can understand that overall aspects of particular sport. Every sportsperson emotionally connected with particular sport and it can influence their lives accordingly.
And sometimes sports person showcase disappointment towards the cup because when it's called world Cup then for sure that trophy should derive in it's look and if not then that gives disappointment but some trophies really does the justice and indirectly the appearance of an trophy also plays an great role.
