Sailing in the Gulf of Paria, Venezuela

Hello community of Steemians, in this post I want to share the history of my experience when I was sailing in the Gulf of Paria, in the east of Venezuela in the year 1984, taking as the base of the patrol (Marine military boats of 77 feet in length) the city of Guiria, in the southern part of the Paria Peninsula.

This time I was exercising patrols for 45 days, throughout the Venezuelan maritime space of the south of Venezuela. Hola comunidad de steemians, en este post les quiero compartir la historia de mi experiencia cuando navegaba en el golfo de Paria, en el Oriente de Venezuela en el año 1984, teniendo como base de las patrulleras ( embarcaciones marinas militares de 77 pies de eslora ) la ciudad de Guiria, en la parte sur de la peninsula de paria.

En esta oportunidad estuve ejerciendo labores de patrullaje durante 45 días, en todo el espacio marítimo venezolano de la zona sur de Venezuela. Dentro de las labores de patrullaje se ejercía la vigilancia de los recursos naturales renovables, la parte ambiental, anti-narcóticos, seguridad de instalaciones petroleras o mineras, apoyo a todas las comunidades de la jurisdicción, en especial a las comunidades pesqueras e indígenas. El apoyo con respecto a los pescadores era en el sentido de que ellos contaran con mi presencia y la del personal de marinos de la lancha patrullera de nombre PUNTA PLAYA, y así asistirlos ante cualquier eventualidad, igualmente con todas las comunidades indígenas se les prestaba apoyo humanitario, en cuanto a medicinas, servicios médicos, combustible y alimentos cuando los requerían.
