Cuando hablamos de fe divina es cuando es Dios en quien se cree. Quien tiene fe en Dios cree que, por encima de toda duda y preocupaciones de este mundo, las enseñanzas de Dios son ciertas y buenas. Son verdades que van más allá de la razón humana. También existe la fe humana, cuando se cree en lo que dice una persona. Por ejemplo, tener fe en el conocimiento y en la integridad del médico para curar determinada enfermedad.
La razón natural no es suficiente para creer en algo. Fe es un concepto que sobrepasa al de la razón. Tener fe en algo o en alguien requiere de un compromiso subjetivo, implica confiar y reconocer que la persona en quien se cree tiene el poder para hacer, la fidelidad para responder y la capacidad para ejecutar.
