Vladimir Putin’s presidential car has been involved in a deadly head-on crash in Moscow. The Russian president’s favourite chauffeur was killed in the horror collision, which was captured in shocking CCTV footage.
Very interesting. Instincts say this is a bit beyond coincidence given broader international context. Putin was not in the vehicle. I could imagine the investigation into the individual driving the vehicle will be quite comprehensive.

Specific reports on the driver of the other vehicle could not be found. Visible in the video, the other driver can be seen jumping across the median and slamming into the presidential car.
Possibilities:
- Sheer coincidence. Just bad luck for a high ranking member of Putin and his staff.
- Western nation supported 'message'
- Western nation supported attack
- Anti-Syrian attack
- Ukrainian attack
- Russian-internal elimination for knowledge (a comment noted the driver was nearing retirement)
By default, the most likely is the coincidence. Though given the recent hacks on the DNC, instincts say its related.
Knowing Putin I wouldn't be surprised if this was all orchestrated by him. He's a propaganda genius.

Was on a number of other sites as well. There wasn't any sort of report about "who" or "why", this is just some speculation from me.
I'm inclined to believe it was a mere coincidence and accident, but as this election draws closer and closer here in the United States, I fully anticipate things getting weirder and weirder... particularly when Obama has been so antagonistic towards Russia and Putin.

there were no hacks. not by russia, not by anybody. the podesta emails were leaked by an insider.
Yeah I saw this. As crazy as russian traffic & roads are, I don't buy that this is just a coincidence.
There is nothing about it in Russian media, probably fake. But the road is definitely Kutuzovski, straight way from Kremlin to feudal's castles in Moscow suburbs.

Elsewhere in the news, Hillary Clinton is having a coughing fit while giving a speech. Should every single misfortune be blamed on Russia vs USA or can we accept that accident happen on their own? If everything is blamed on Russia, or on the USA, then it only makes the situation worse for all of us in either country.
Certainly we can accept something happens on its own. I'm not blaming Russia or the US in this post.
That said, my instincts say otherwise on this one.
