SUMMARY
Ripple (XRP) is #3 in total market cap as shown by coinmarketcap.com. I believe Wall Street will purchase Bitcoin and when BTC's liquidity shortage becomes apparent, they will then focus on the top 5 and then the top 10. This might amplify the initial lag effect of Altcoins. However, RIPPLE will be tailgating Bitcoin when confronted by the insatiable crypto appetite of Wall Street.
The below chart shows XRP's initial five wave impulse and subsequent abc correction. The pattern is that of a downward pointing symmetrical triangle. From this pattern, price broke out and is likely impulsing.
The breach completed wave 1 and wave 2 has been an exapnded flat where b is higher than the origin of wave a. IF wave 2 is complete, then 3,4,5 remain to be filled. The targets for wave 3 and 5 could be reached earlier than posted.

I suggested that you maybe learn to be giving and use the social aspect of this social media. I feel bad that all your posts are making 0 now. Both technologically and politically BTC seems like it will lose its positions long term. The 2018 will be the year of masternodes, proof of stake, and bloody fights between the SEC and the scam-ICOs.
Both Dash and Monero look 100x more promising then Ripple due to the decentralized democratic way of voting, holding incentives for the investors and actual technology beint constantly updated.
Ripple survives on the short-term vision claims with more water than actual breakthroughs.
Sure it will go up to 2-3$; like any crypto this summer it will grow but it will never become the next Bitcoin. It’s a scam.

Thanks for the educational comments. I’ve studied Ripple, read it’s whitepaper and followed its news since last summer. I know what are the ripple technology solutions and which ones are proposed to the banks. Ripple will go up because of the hype that the company is making on the market connecting to the banks.
When I used scam I might’ve been too harsh as there are many coins on the market that deserve this word better. Still I feel like Ripple is not always honest in its press releases. There is a big difference between banks adapting the technology and their innovation departments just using the various new technologies to complete the yearly quote set by the corporate. Ripple is currently used by many banks in a testing mode and won’t necessarily stick. What’s more important is that it’s usually not the coin that’s used but the Ripple’s chat solution for banks.
I’m sorry if I heart anyone’s feelings before. I don’t want to be a troll in the comments but pay a close attention to Ripple.

XRP will never ever overtake BTC. I do own a lot of it and think it’s a solid, conservative play in the market due to the banks being tied in. I can see it going to $30 max but anything above that doesn’t make sense.

Haejin started upvoting himself to counter the downvotes. This did not begin with @haejin upvoting himself. It began with grumpycat flagging @haejin because ranchorelaxo started supporting him.
Look at my comment. Basically people were mad haejin was upvoting himself 90% of the time and taking 5000$ it more every day. They tried to be reasonable and ask him to be more reasonable. He decided not to and now this is the culmination of what might be called the first Steemit mmorpg. Where other whales instead of upvoting themselves and stealing money, are wasting their power to downvotes him so he doesn't get to steal quite as much. Me and you for posting in this comment section could become casualties of war and lose a lot of your reputation (the number next to your name) just for commenting in these posts. Me by haejin and his followers, you by the people who downvotes the other comments and haejin's post this far.
