It's no lie when I say that we got a whole lot accomplished in 2017. Myself alone wrote an album in the first month of 2017, meet a mixing engineer who is great at what he does, record the album, and get it released digitally all while writing the follow up album for Smiley Face Emoji which is titled The Sad Emoticon and what will sooner be released my EP titled Something Strange In The Water! I don't know about you but that seems like I put in work. Anyway it was a lot of fun and I'm grateful to have stumbled onto my grind but I'm ready to see what 2018 has in store!
For myself I am ready for the tide to shift musically. I put a lot of time and effort into making an album to put smiles on faces and love in others hearts. However I feel that lyrically I have a lot more to share. Everyone goes through pain and heartache and I'm not the lucky one who avoided it all. I have dealt with my fair share of tragedy and just down right shitty moments in my life, as well as getting into things I should have miles away from. Starting this year you will begin to hear some of these things I have been through. Some of them more glorified than others but do remember that I'm trying to give you and other listeners the point of view of how I felt when I was going through these things. I may be vague with some of these topics because some of them hit a soft spot and some I'm not proud of.
So sit tight as you embark on the journey that is my life. Trust me when I say that it's not all peaches and cream. Make sure you reach the concession stand on your way in because this story may take a few years for me to tell.
