Hi steemeters,
Sharone Kelly here again
I was reading this book slowly by Top Dog: The Science of Winning and Losing,
And This concept blew my mind.
It busts several myths, like the 10,000 Hour Rule, and whether you have to be calm under pressure.
Basically it says that competition will usually bring the best out of you, but depending on whether you are an introvert or extrovert, you will need a different competitive environment.
Don't shy away from competition, but tailor the competition to your personality type.
It's interesting that men take more risks, but that extra risk doesn't always translate into more wins.
There's always some kind of risk when it comes to investing for example, but the best investors find ways to minimize it...
What do you think? are you a risk taker ?
Stay strong,
Sharone
