I guess it's the most important thing in life - to keep going forward, no matter what. And I don't mean it when there's literally a cliff in front of you. Then you stop and think for a while - do you have what it takes to survive the fall? By going forward I meant all the fucked up shit that's happening in the world. There's no time to stop now, you have to go on and do the thing that makes you feel alive.
It's mad to even imagine that there are people right now (during covid-show) who are so scared that they don't meet anyone. And there are lots of people in the world who live alone. Even if half of them are scared of covid and stay home all the time, we are going to change as a society. It's already happening.
Where I live, it's now forbidden to go anywhere without a mask. Yeah, I know, it's the new normal in many places around the world now but me, personally, I can't take it. Where I work, it has all stopped. We can't work because of covid risks although nobody has ever got a virus from a sports session. Yes, I work as a sports coach, and working out is a natural boost to your immune system. Staying home is the exact opposite of that, especially in a flat that doesn't get much fresh air.
My salary has greatly decreased and I'm in so much debt that it feels like I should just give up and go find a job in an office where I'll be doing things for other people so they can get paid. Yes, I will get some money for it but working 8 hours a day doing the thing you'll probably hate doesn't feel like an option for me. To get something going I've started learning many new things about having an online income. Starting from various crypto faucets (which only benefit the creators) and online stores (which is a viable option) to investing in De-Fi and other crypto projects (including HIVE).
Most of the things need money in order to start earning. But you know what doesn't need money? Blogging. Even if you don't have your own website, you can blog on HIVE and that's exactly what I'm doing right now. It's not something that will get you hundreds of dollars a day but it may serve as a start to your online career. It may be a way for you to find out what you really want and what you are capable of. How much are you willing to give in order to succeed? How creative can you get to overcome difficulties (which will always be there)?
It's something I ask myself every day. What is it that will take me to new heights in my life? What will be the thing that will turn my life around? One I do know - it takes a lot of hours to create something truly meaningful. I spent a lot on this blog. And I will probably spend more. But now I have to figure out how to make something people will truly adore. Something that will be worth the effort and this time - it must be something that will reward my efforts and start a new path in my life.
Which way will I go? Where will the universe take me? Follow @spellmaker because no word will ever break me.
