Peace of Mind (A Poem)

A mind serene as water,
Easily disturbed by a ripple—
Shattering like a platter.

Searching for peace of mind,
Traveling through an endless void,
Yet peace is too difficult to find.

The noises, and the voices,
Overwhelms a weakened psyche—
Almost putting it on stasis.

Finally, after an ardous search,
He found it, a place of peace,
His own utopia— his perch.
