Andai ku belikan istana untukmu ibu, ku berikan engkau makanan yang sangat lezat sampai hari tuamu, kubawakan dirimu ke tanah suci, ku berbakti kepadamu, namun itu semua belum bisa membalas setetes darah yang robek saat engkau mengeluarkanku dari rahimmu yang gelap itu.

Ku bersimpuh memohon ampun. Terkadang saat engkau memanggilku, sekali, dua kali bahkan tiga kali belum terjawab olehku karena berbagai alasan, namun saat dulu ku menangis engkau orang pertama mengenali suaraku. Engkau meninggalkan pekerjaan dan menghampiriku.
Oh ibu..
Engkau adalah wanita surga yang diturunkan tuhanku sebagai pelindungku di dunia. Ku selalu berharap begitu. Agar kelak engkau kembali kesurga. Sebagai hadiah tuhanku untukmu, karena hanya Allah yang mampu membalas jasamu ibu.
