Excellent - your technical knowledge is over my head, but the examples are perfect to explain said over the head knowledge. Also must comment re that look on your dad's face: HAHA, don't we photo-bugs all know that look from people? My cats even get that look - if I get a shot before they look completely away. My dad definitely had a camera face. Every family photo, he had what he thought was a genuine expression, but the only real expressions that are in pictures are from ones he didn't know were being taken. LOL
