Quick Street Photography Tips

Here are a few tips to help people to be a better street photographer

Less Is More

Make sure not to take to much equipment with you. With less equipment you will look less obtrusive and will be able to move around quicker to get the perfect shot.

Don't Just Go To The Touristy Areas

Make sure that you don't always go to the touristy areas to take your photos, go behind the scenes and maybe get some shots of some derelict buildings as these produce wonderful photos.

Different Angles

With street photography, you want to change the angle from the regular eye level as this is what people see on a daily basis. Shooting from different angles makes the photos stand out as they give a new perspective of things.

Try Diagonal Photography

Instead of always taking photos the standard way such as horizontal and vertical; maybe try holding the camera at a diagonal angle to. This can sometimes make an image stand out much more but, this is something you will need to experiment with.
