I'm visiting family in Massachusetts and am reminded of how beautiful autumn is in my home state. Took these photos tonight at about 10 pm. It was fully dark and there was no moon but the long exposure makes it look like dusk in some of the photos. The stars reveal that it was indeed night time. They are 30 second exposures with ISO 3200 at f/3.2 on my Canon Powershot G7 X Mark II.
This is a more detailed view of directly across the lake. It really looks like dusk in this picture, but the sun set between 5 and 6pm and it was around 10 when I took this. Have to say I'm really liking the way the night photos bring out soft colors and reflections.
Captured the constellation Orion and it's reflection in the lake in this shot :^) Really like the way the stars and the lights of the houses across the lake came out in this one, and the satellite(?) streak.
This shot is a bit more to the left of center. It captures the dock and more of the mysterious green light at the camp across the lake. It looks like it must be dusk with the sun setting behind me, but that illumination is from the lake house.
Love the americana feel that the flag, cabin, and dock bring to this shot.
