Der Titicaca-See
Den Titicaca-See liegt teilen sich zwei südamerikanische Andenländer, nämlich Boliven und Peru. Mit einer Höhe von über 3.800 Metern und einer Größe von 8.288 Quadratkilometern ist der See das höchstgelegene schiffbare Gewässer der Welt. Der Titicacacsee ist mehr als dreimal so groß wie das Saarland oder 15,5 mal so groß wie der Bodensee.
Ein peruanischen Wortspiel besagt, dass „Titi“ den Peruanern, während „caca“ Bolivien gehöre.
Lake Titicaca is shared by two South American Andean countries, Bolivia and Peru. With an altitude of over 3,800 metres and a size of 8,288 square kilometres, the lake is the highest navigable water in the world. Lake Titicacac is more than three times as big as Saarland or 15.5 times as big as Lake Constance.
A Peruvian pun says that "Titi" belongs to the Peruvians, while "caca" belongs to Bolivia.
