Rohtas Fort is a fortress of the 16th century near the city of Jhelum in Pakistan's Punjab province. Rohtas fort was build by sher shah suri and was built between 1541 to 1548. Fort was used to help the Potohar rebel tribes.
They were from North Punjab region, who were loyal to the Mughal crown. The fortress is one of the largest and largest provinces. Fort Rohtas had never been in the stormed.
The fortress is known for its large defense museums and several monumental gates. The Rohtas is under UNESCO as a World Heritage Site . Rohtas fort is excellent example of the architecture of the Middle and South Asian Muslim Army.
