Even though the winters are long in Calgary, it’s not excuse not to get out and shoot. We often go walking as a family just for the purpose of photography (summer or winter).
We never know what it’s going to yield for results. And over the years I’ve become less precious about shooting with my phone vs my slr.
I’m always glad for a bit of art to keep my mind off the snow.
Do you go on photography safari in your city?
I love your photography of Calgary! I'm testing the camera on my new phone. It's much better than my previous edition but not to SLR standards.
But I always have my phone so I get to record a lot more.
I don't have a city. I have a town, and live in the 'burbs so I rarely go on a photoshoot in town. But I probably average 10 frames per week in the desert :)
Lots to shoot in the desert! Which phone?
I got the Apple SE. My old 6+ was starting to show signs of failure (reset every other day or so). The SE is lightning fast and the camera seems a significant upgrade.
Grab a 'Moment' lens or two. Makes a big difference.
