Welcome back to The Amateur Society for a conversation about an important component of practical philosophy: thought experiments. While sitting down and running through systematic metaphysics and other complex topics is not going to be feasible for everyday amateurs like us, we can still garner a lot of insight out of performing thought experiments. Why did a decision get made or why did a situation play out the way it did? Asking these questions about ourselves and others allows us to gain insight into more general principles that we can use to better understand our own worldviews and the world around us. Thanks again for joining us on The Amateur Society!
