Hidden In Plain Sight

in #ocd2 years ago

I think it's almost always kinda been this way to some extent, at least going back a couple hundred years... Probably further.

Much truth is hidden in plain sight and most people seem to hide from the truth because it's difficult and scary and they want to cultivate the small amount of happiness they can find.

Though, there's also truth that remains hidden and is never revealed so it's not so black and white as many of these sort of short memes claim in such absolute manner.

I would say though, that these days with the internet and so many thousands of people doing investigations and sharing what they've learned with the world that...

The information is more available than ever and more people than ever are hiding from the truth than ever, at least in recorded history.

It's one of the biggest problems in my opinion because the less people care about what the people in power are doing the more the people in power can keep doing what they are doing.

And, I know it's difficult and scary as I mentioned above, but... In my opinion life becomes a million times richer and more enjoyable if you can get passed that and learn more about life.

Ever since I started my journey of learning about what's going on I've never felt bored or like I didn't have a purpose after that.
It's been incredibly traumatic to learn certain things, yet... Being in more alignment with the truth has also brought me incredible happiness as well.

One of the things I'm most grateful for in life is that I had the courage to try to discover my place in this world...

I'm so thankful on a regular basis that I know so much of what I do and that I'm not just basically a "walking dead" sort of zombie who goes through the path that has been set up by the rulers from before birth to death never really questioning things very much to any significant degree.

I'm reminded of a couple quotes... "Know thyself" and the "truth shall set you free". <3
