By Monday 17th September 2018. All schools in Nigeria will be resuming back to school after their 7weeks holiday. The 7weeks holiday is observed at the end of the third term which is also the end of a school session.
During these holiday many students/pupils cease the oppurtunity to travel because of its long period likewise during the long holiday most school operate a coaching holiday lesson to keep freshing up the students brain and to prepare them for their next class or level.
As the holiday is fast approaching to the end with only 4 days remaining, many parents are now getting prepared just like the students are also.
Currently in Nigeria market their is higher purchase of school materials such as ; school bags, food flask, school sandals, school uniform, books and text books. As it is a new academic session students will need to buy new books for their new classes. Parents will also want their children to appear in a unique way more better than the previous session.
Many students will have to change their school for reasons that some parent would have migrate to another place, or maybe the parent want their child to further the education in another place or another school as the case maybe.
Why some changes their school because of finance, currently in Nigeria many schools have been increasing their fees because of the economic situation.
This avenue also brings about employment oppurtunities for people on education line.
Many schools will now be into employing new teachers to replace those that left or those that the school think are not competent enough.
Also not forgetting the boarding students, the parent will have to get them some provisions apart from the school materials, these are part of what they will take to school.
At first when resumption is near many students will not be happy, not because they are going back to school but mainly because they will have to wake up early everyday to meet up with school time.
I also feel the same when i was in school...
But at the end there us nothing as interesting as it, you will get the chance to see your mates again and to meet your teachers, you get the chance to gist about your holiday among your friends. You listen to their stories and they will also like to hear from you.
I therefore wish all Nigeria( primary and secondary) students a happy resumption.
