There is a reason why there is a thing known as "womens sports". That reason is so that there is a level playing field. It is the reason everyone dopes, or everyone is drug tested.

Allowing transgender males to compete in womens sports will destroy the sport. So, you have to ask the question: Destroy the sport or be called anti-transgender.

I agree. An individual with a Y chromosome regardless of how they identify has an inherent physiological and biological advantage over women. Politics don't really apply to genetics and that's the problem.

maybe people can just be people, and the one's that fall into a certain chromosomal profile are called one thing, and any other profiles are called another.. oh wait, we did that! guess we need another solution...

let's stop genetically modifying everyone. I don't really care at an individual level, it's your body, but the mass effects are what i'm concerned about.

I'm all for freedom of expression, yet medical alterations that are unnecessary for sustaining cellular life seem problematic since such a high percentage of people who undergo them end up with psychological disorders from the mis-identification with self, leading to depression, suicide, and a generation of gender neutral babies raised without genital awareness that are not named until they choose to identify with a gender, of which there are 78. too many for a kid to choose from. then again, let people be people, right?

this topic is so overwhelming for me. Most importantly the message i hear from this movement, which is likely coming from a movement further up the chain is.... "I accept everyone for who they are and how they show up in the world, what I don't accept is myself."

I wonder how that is supposed to trickle down? Who wants us to believe that....? More like, who wants us to think "everyone else has is good, I'm the one who is struggling"... sound familiar? uh.... history repeats itself in funny ways. I don't buy it.

I agree. It's just crazy to see how crazy things have gotten in the past 10 years or so. Blows my mind.
