In a historical framework, firstly in Antiquity or in the Hellenistic period, The philosophy of purely nature in the 6th and 5th centuries, then the Greek and Christian Europe are the branches that come to terms with the explanation of the nature of general metaphysical systems.
Ontology examines the "existing" as a whole; but it is also a phenomenon that the "existing" things are divided into various entities. One of these areas of being is the area of natural being. The territory of the natural entity is settled as "nature" to our language. The nature term also usually encompasses areas of living nature and inanimate nature. Physics, chemistry, geology, mineralogy, etc. as well as a variety of blond branches gathered under the name of biology.
However, no science investigates what kind of structure nature has as a being, what kind of a link exists between living and non-living beings, what kind of determinant types and principles are valid in nature. All these and other similar problems are again an area of study of a particular philosophical discipline. Here we give this philosophy discipline "nature philosophy" and "nature ontology".
The new ontology is a discipline of philosophy that emerges in our time with today's philosophy of nature philosophy. Prior to this problem area, either a fictional metaphysical problem was considered; as it was in the beginning of the century with the nineteenth century, a methodology of natural sciences, in other words, a philosophy of natural sciences. Thus, instead of the philosophy of the field of being called nature, philosophy of the science dealing with this entity field was passed. However, a philosophy of the field of existence that a science is not a philosophy of a group of scientists, but which is examined by other sciences, deserves the title of "philosophy of nature"; otherwise this philosophy can not go beyond being a method science.
Though, philosophical ideas emerged in nature philosophy, more precisely in nature, are found in the philosophy of every philosophy. But the first book of philosophy written under the name of nature philosophy was written by the philosopher Schelling. But this work is only a philosophy of nature in its name.
