Have you ever wondered why mousetraps are still in use?, it's simply because mice have failed to learn from those that are trapped before them. So every new catch enters the death trap because "fools rush in where fools have gone before". If mice had the sense of monitoring what happens to their counterparts who moved in before them, mice would be able to avoid these deadly traps that we continuously use to kill them.
This applies to humans in the same way, in most cases, when you wait in vain to see the returns of those who went before you, then you develope the temptation to think that maybe there is so much to grab out there, having a feeling that, why would they take that long to return? In no time you also jump in without further research and questioning, forgetting that, most of them are trapped desperately doing the trial and error in order to escape the misery.
Leave alone the old man's saying that "learn from your own past mistakes". In the 21st century, the world is moving so fast that you can't live long enough to learn from your own mistakes. It really saves time if you learn from other people's mistakes since we even have few years to live.
Living in poverty is not a natural condition. Poverty is created by how a person thinks and behaves. This is a generation of information, why wait to learn from your mistakes, when there is a lot of information out there that will help you move forward.
Currently i'm learning how to trade the financial markets, but what most self proclaimed mentors say, is to start live trading before you gather enough information. All what they say is, you will learn from your mistakes. I don't believe in that. You can start trading profitably when you have the right information.
