Lately, "thank God" or other words of gratitude are just said without really meaning them.
But what shouldn't one be grateful about?
Do you know it costs about N50,000 to be on oxygen mask in an hospital for a day?
Do you know it costs close to a million naira to pass urine artificially in dialysis?
And that artificial body part will or can never function as the original?#sighs...
Those are just basics by the way.
A little journey into my past.
Thanks to @ponmile for mentioning me in this challenge, however permit me to take you on

my first reason to be grateful
It is usually said that everyone suffers but these sufferings are supposedly shielded from others by the
Sufferer's clothing. However i am a man of many scars most of which were birthed from my near death
Experiences. I have made mistakes in life but here's why i'm grateful, as deadly and gruesome as the mistakes
Might have been, i have been given second chances and i have learnt with just scars, where others have paid dearly
With their lives.
my second reason to be grateful
Another saying goes "wealth isn't a measure of materials possessed, wealth is relative." A man is poor not because he has
No money but because he has no dream. Years ago, in spite of being labelled so many praises "genius" "talented" "creative"
But today relevance of those experiences would be ugly understatements, for i have not only stopped but helped others stop too,
And have been able to establish ways to create happiness in my immediate community.
#eyerolls there was entirely nothing to show for it but a miserable soul gradually depleting in self mutilation and drug abuse.
Good deeds are powerful and have this ripple effect. So i challenge @desmoniac @kivar @eunireal1 to do as i have done
Continue to give thanks and you will get a positive result.... Its the power of thanksgiving....the power of positivity
