The Best Way to Get Rid of Credits and Debts

in #money7 years ago (edited)

Everyone should know this. There are things, which shouldn’t be done, because the consequences can be quite destructive..

Recently, I’ve read that the total volume of people’s credit and credit card debts increased again after a certain drop. It made me think about my book, which I published about seven years ago. The book was titled “How to get rid of credits and debts”.

After the financial crunch 2008 in Russia, this topic was quite fresh. My goal was not to make money out of people’s problems but to help those in difficult straits.

When I worked on the book, I studied all the information I managed to find and described my own working experience in financial sphere and my tough way out of credit debt.

I realized that this problem is of a complex nature and I decided to study the three aspects of the case: psychological, financial and juridical. I defined the reasons of getting into the debt pit, the consequences, types of debtors, the right attitude towards this problem and so on. But the main thing I did was answer to a question “What to do?” I suggested a definite practical scheme consisted of 12 steps for those who wanted to pay the debts.

Judging by the comments, there were many people among the readers, who get rid of the debts following those 12 steps. But there were disappointed ones, who expected one more magic button like “MONEY”.

Everybody wishes to solve all the financial problems at once and become a financially independent person without stirring a finger. And no one wants to choose the way of persistence, patience, self improvement and life changes.

Now I’m finally sure that there is the only most effective way out of debts. Here it is:

“Never ever and not at any price borrow money!”

“It seems to me that a real honest man would sooner get as lean as a greyhound than feast on borrowed money, and would choke up his throat with dust before he would let the landlord make chalkmarks against him behind the door for a beer score». These are strong words of an English writer Charles Spurgeon from the essay Debts.

I totally agree with him.

And the main thing is not to borrow even a single penny.

“Where a hen has laid one egg, she is very likely to lay another; when a man is once in debt, he is likely to get into it again; it is better to keep clear of it from the first. He who gets in for a penny will soon be in for pound, and when a man is in over his shoes, he is very liable to be in over his boots. Never owe a farthing, and you will never owe a guinea” – Charles Spurgeon.

An orient proverb says “A wise man can protect himself from approaching to the deep, but he could do nothing if he gets into it”.

Even if it sounds commonplace, I tell you, make an effort, do what is possible, but avoid this dangerous step into the debt pit.

If you’ve got into a big trouble and can do nothing by your own efforts, ask anybody for help, but don’t borrow money.

If you want to borrow money and to invest in cryptocurrency or a promising ICO, don’t do it. Risk your own money without borrowing.

I don’t even say that you shouldn’t use all those credit cards with ex interest.

And I hope that my tip will be helpful for anybody.

Wish you freedom!

I disagree

For sure it's true for regular people who live from payout to payout. But for people who can earn money from borrowed money the debt fear is just a ridiculous.

and a line between two groups is a financial education. I don't mean classical University one, I mean just healthy financial sense. If bought thing would make more money than percents for a loan, I would consider that loan as a healthy-happy loan.

I thank you for your opinion.
Certainly, if we talk about a credit that can increase your ability and possibilities to earn anymore (educating, purchase of equipment etc.), then at that rate, a credit is possible.
But, firstly, most credits undertake people for a consumer, for a consumption, for indulging and satisfaction of the desires and whims , and secondly, there is a certain risk in every loan, there always is some risk, that circumstances can be folded not so as you suppose..
