Here in Southern KY Lyme Disease from ticks is not so common, but there is a different disease, not sure of the name, but it essentially makes you allergic to red meat. I have number of friend that have contracted it. If it doesn't fly or swim they can't eat it. Very informative post, thanks for the information.
