The Brave Bird - A Life Lesson

It was an unusual snowy morning in the Southern part of Africa & everywhere was so cold that no living thing dared to come out from its shelter...
A brave bird decided to defy the odd by flying away to a warmer part of the continent. On the course of her journey, she flew across many hills and rivers and eventually got very weak as she was flying across the last deep river which had a warmer weather at its ends. Without loosing hope, the poor bird struggled with its last strength across the river and eventually lost stability & fell on a ridge in a farmland where a farmer had planted corn. While she was still lying frozen & unconcious on the ridge, the farmer who came to fertilize his farm covered her with a lump of manure which gradually made her feel warm and regain her consciousness.

Out of joy that she made it alive, she began to sing. Her voice was so loud and beautiful that it attracted a cat which was drinking water from the nearby river to stop and sing along with her.
The bird loved the voice that sang along with her and called in for help. The cat came by, helped the bird out of the manure and SWALLOWED her and that ended the life of the brave bird.

Beware ! Not every kind friend is a 'Brother' !
