The dead are NOT gone Old Hickory Grove Cemetery, Clay County, Florida

On my journey through life I adventure out at times just to get away for awhile.
On this day I wished that I would have just stayed home.
When we die and choose to be buried and placed in the ground,
We entrust that we will be forever taken care of or at least the small piece of ground and what ever marker is laid on top.
This is the place that I have been many times. As a child growing up we would visit from time to time. It was a peaceful place, where you could set and listen to the sounds of the squirrel and birds from the forest that surrounds the place.

Yesterday I stopped in and made a video of the place. So sad. No one cares. Why ?<br /> This was a beautiful place many years ago. A place where I found peace and now all I hear is screams from the ones at rest there asking WHY ? The crypt in the far back against the woods is busted open. There is no one caring for this place. The big tree up front is now dead and needs taken down. Did you go in the woods ? There is a grave out there. Sad very sad. These are the people of our past. This is the one you were trying to read.
