When I first got together with my now fiancé, I never knew what was in store for the future. He had two children whom at the time he did see. Things were tough but he got to see them on occasion, and he got to see them together. Once things got serious between him and I both mothers of my stepchildren withheld the kids... A’s mom just wasn’t sure about me, she thought I was just another girl and didn’t want her kid around me. D’s mom was a whole different story. It was all about my fiancé. She made up lies about him making him look like a criminal who shouldn’t be allowed contact with his kids.
He fought for time with both, eventually ending up in a visitation center for both, separating the two siblings and breaking their bond. D’s mother moved 75 miles north while A’s mother moved 40 miles south.
Everything eventually worked out with A’s mom and we started getting him every other weekend.
Fast forward to this year and a whole lot of growing: my fiancé shares 50/50 with A’s mom and D’s mom has continued to withhold all contact. My fiancé now has to pay 38$ an hour to see his oldest daughter.
He’s been kept away from his oldest daughter for 3 years. Shunned, lied about and accused for doing horrible things. All without proof. The court accepts that he’s horrible person on behalf of D’s mothers lies.
She also has blocked all contact with A’s mother and the rest of my fiancé’s family.
In February my fiancé and I welcomed the final little minion to the mix. A girl named Lucy. She was born 2.13.18
While she continues to grow and learn, she will have a fabulous relationship with her older brother, A. But I’m really curious about how and when she will be able to bond with her older sister, D. It infuriates me that some women can destroy the bond their children have with the other half of their family.
I yearn for the day my daughter can finally meet her older sister. Which would also mean I yearn for the day my step daughters mother pulls her head out of her ass and let’s her be a part of the other half of her family. We love and miss her dearly. Her games and lies can only last so long... I hope.
