A vision board is a visualization tool that can help an individual visualize and even attract their ideal goal. It can be a collage of words, phrases, pictures or sketches.
You can create your vision board any time of the year. You can completely reinvent yourself. Vision boards work because they keep your goal top of mind. Here is how you can create an empowering vision board.
★ Write down your goals on a blank paper. Really reflect on what goals you want. Everyone has their own goal setting system. Some set in quarters and others set goals in every section of their lives. Use what feels most natural to you.
When goal setting remember to set smart goals and also craft a plan of how to get get from point a to B.
★ Decide what kind of vision board you need. Some prefer to cut up magazines and stick them on a manila paper, others have digital vision boards on their devices. Again, do what you like.
★ Start collecting images, words, affirmations etc. that align with what you want in step 1. This is the hardest yet most satisfying part. Print images, go to Pinterest etc.
★ Build your board. Put your elements together to create something seamless and authentic to you. Get creative. There are no rules.
★ Look at your board every day. Put your vision board in an open place where you can see it. Add 5 minutes into your morning routine to visualize your goals.
