Leviathan (2014)
This is a Russian drama, so put on your reading glasses on the for subtitles. Like other Russian movies I've seen, this one's got a gritty and pessimistic air to it, but with enough redeeming instruction about human nature, corruption and perseverance to make it an incredibly powerful film.
