Education in FATA

Fata is geographically, culturally, and linguistically linked with Afghanistan in west while with Khyber pakhtunkhwa in east. The overall administration system in Fata is week especially The education system which has been in the hand of federal govt. There are many problem of not promoting education in Fata like militancy in area from decades, low budgets allocation for education, weak stretigic planning & implementation, destructed infrastructure, ghosts school and positio sectarianism, staff provision, and the which is almost important is peace in the region. The girls and women are completely ignored and need to be the top priority for a peaceful and sustainable Society. There are only 400 schools for boys and girls and only 128 schools are allocated for girls which could not fulfil the portfolio and international standard for a region where population is about 6million. As far as high and higher schools are
concerned in Pakistan there are 16 thousand schools and in KPK above than two
thousand but in FATA this number lingers around two hundred only. out of these
two hundred there are only 27 schools for girls. There are three types of institutions i.e. community schools, madrasas and private school which Have different curriculum indicates that existing education need a coherence.
